How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service, at whatever time suits you: you let yourself in with a secure key box. The instructions and the code are sent to you before your stay via Airbnb. We're not on site, but we stay reachable throughout your stay.
How many people can stay, and how are the beds arranged?
Up to 6 people, across three floors. On the 1st floor, a bedroom with a double bed (140×190). On the 2nd, a large open bedroom with a double bed (140×190) and a trundle bed (2 single beds, 80×190). That's 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, 1 bathroom.
Does the house have stairs?
Yes — Maison Lucien is spread over three floors. It isn't a ground-floor property (unlike the building's apartment), so bear this in mind if you're bringing a pushchair or have reduced mobility. Safety gates are fitted on every staircase.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
No — bed linen, towels and tea towels are not provided. Remember to bring your own.
How does check-out and cleaning work?
End-of-stay cleaning is the guests' responsibility: the house should be left tidy and clean, dishes done, bins taken out. If you'd rather not, a cleaning option is available for €60.
Can we come with a baby?
Yes, and the house is well equipped for little ones: a travel cot, high chair and baby bath are provided, and safety gates protect every staircase.
What amenities does the house have?
Wi-Fi, a 50" smart TV, a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, Senseo coffee machine), a fridge, and electric radiator heating in every room.
Can we smoke inside?
No, the house is strictly non-smoking.
Where can we park?
Free parking is available nearby, on the street. Once you've parked, everything is within walking distance: the grocery shop just steps away, the beach and cliffs 500 m off.
How do we book?
Booking, availability, the minimum stay and rates are currently handled on Airbnb — the "Book on Airbnb" button is on the Maison Lucien page. Direct booking will be offered here soon.
How do we get to Le Tréport?
By car: about 2h30–3h from Paris (A16 then D1015, or A28/A29), 1h from Rouen or Amiens. By train: Le Tréport-Mers station, a 10-minute walk away (connections from Paris via Abancourt or Amiens, ~3h). From England: Newhaven–Dieppe ferry, then a 30-minute drive.
